Record Company President - This is someone who is above everyone else and has a say in most contracts and deals that happen in the company, however they employ a lot of different people to take charge of the difference roles of the record company.
The Vice President is just below the Company President, and is in charge of
A&R - The A&R artist and repertoire department is in charge of discovering new talent to sign with the label that they work with. They are in charge of things from assisting with song selection to choosing the people that will produce the album to deciding where the album will be recorded. They work very close to the signed artists and act as a messenger between the artist and all the other departments of the record company.
Art Department - People in the art department are in charge of the album production's artwork, such as the CD cover, advertisements and displays at places like music stores.
Artist Development - They plan the careers of the artists who are signed to the record label
