Week 5 Part 2 - Song Writing Progress

Today was a very productive pod session as we got lots of parts finished and came up with new ideas.

First Will, Finn and Jordan showed James the completed instrumental for the verse and intro of our 2nd original , while I was working on the lyrics for the first original and a melody for the second.

James helped Jordan finish the drum beat off as he was having trouble with the timing.

Finn showed us a rough idea he had on the guitar for a pre chorus. So far I like the ideas that he'd coming up with for this song and like that it looks as if there might be a few changes in the song as it keeps it interesting.

By now Finn was confident in his part for the verses, but Will and Jordan wanted to go through their parts together to get used to the timing of the song.

The melody is still something I am trying to make perfect for me to sing, as I like the instrumental and lyrics so much that I don't want to let the whole song down with a melody that I'm not 100% happy with.
